Prison Island Tour

During this trip you will take a boat from the shores of Stone Town and head to the beautiful Prison Island in about 30 minutes. The prison was built in 1893 and is currently owned by a hotel. Nowadays the island is most famous for its tortoise sanctuary. Also you will get a chance to snorkel in the deep blue water surrounding Prison Island or you can just relax and enjoy the breathtaking beaches.

• You can pay for these tours in USD, Tanzanian shillings or Euros.
• Children above 12 years old will pay the same price as adults
• It is also possible to start the tours from other places on Zanzibar for an extra fee (depending on the starting place)
• If lunch is not included in the preferred tour, we can include an extensive local lunch for an additional price of 15 USD per person.
